Verifying your identity (FICA)

Before your first payout we confirm who you are and that the bank account is yours. It takes a few minutes.

South African law requires us to know who we pay. We ask once, before your first payout.

What you need

• Your South African ID or passport.
• A bank account in your own name, or your business’s name if you trade as a company.
• For companies: your CIPC registration number.

How long it takes

Most checks finish within minutes. If something needs a person to look at it, we reply within one business day.

Changing your bank account

For your safety, a bank change needs a code sent to your WhatsApp, and payouts pause for a short cooling-off period afterwards.
