WhatsApp delivery, broadcasts and opt-ins

Receipts and downloads go on WhatsApp. Broadcasts only reach fans who opted in, and anyone can reply STOP.

Delivery messages

Receipts, download links, tickets and booking reminders go to the number a fan gives at checkout, if they ticked “Send my purchase on WhatsApp”.

Broadcasts

Broadcasts are marketing, so they only go to fans who opted in. You can send one a day. Your plan includes a number of messages each month; after that each one costs a few cents, shown before you send.

Opt-ins and STOP

A fan who replies STOP is removed straight away and won’t get marketing again unless they opt back in. You may ask someone to opt in once. Imported contacts can’t get broadcasts until they say yes.
