Platform terms
The rules for everyone who uses Creator One.
Draft for legal review. Some company details are still to be confirmed.
Who we are
Creator One is run by Creator One, a South African business. These terms apply to anyone who visits a Creator One page, signs up or buys.
What Creator One does
We give creators a page, a shop and WhatsApp tools. Creators sell their own products to their own fans. We are not the seller of those products: the creator is. We process payments through licensed payment partners and pay creators out after fees.
The other terms that apply
Creators also agree to the creator terms. Fans who buy also agree to the fan terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and the content policy lists what may not be sold.
Fair use
Don’t break the law, harm other people, send spam, try to get around security, or scrape the service. We may suspend pages or accounts that do, and we’ll tell the creator why unless the law stops us.
Availability
We work hard to keep Creator One available, but it is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act that can’t be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell creators at least 30 days ahead by email or WhatsApp. South African law governs these terms.
